The only true worship comes from the heart. Jesus said “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” In church, in our homes, in the car, anywhere we are should worship God from our heart.
Mark 12:30 And thou shalt have love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
In 1 Samuel the enemy had burned the city of David and taken all the women captive. David’s own people were hurting and distressed. They even wanted to stone David. 1 Samuel 30:6 says David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. How did David encourage himself in the Lord? He worshipped, his heart cried out in worship to God.
Psalm 84:2 My soul longeth yea even fainteth for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh crieth out for the living God.
When we worship our God who is worthy of all worship, with all our strength, soul, mind and heart, He will inhabit our praise. Jesus said “If two or three gather in my name I will be in the midst of them. When Jesus comes down and moves among us there will be salvation, healing and miracles.
Beloved, no matter what is going on in your life worship God with your heart, soul, mind and strength. You may not feel like it but He is worthy of our best praise all the time. Through our praise we will have victory.
